Learn
about an exciting voluntary community project for landowners in the
Patterson Creek and Raging River Basins.
PRKC is excited to share
news of a community-based stewardship opportunity for our area funded through a generous
Federal E
PA grant.
Through September 2009-September 2011, Stewardship in
Action! will provide technical and financial assistance to
landowners in the Raging and Patterson Creek Basins – your
neighborhoods!
Several organizations have come together to assist landowners in planning for and implementing
all sorts of stewardship activities to meet your goals for
your property. Landowner options include lower taxes,
materials cost share, work crews and technical
help to improve forests and farms, streams and wetlands and native landscaping amongst other things.
